Scenery Tips

Easy Scenery - John Waitkus

Here is a little trick to simplify adding ground cover to your layout.     Paint the area to be covered with an earth-tone flat latex paint.     Before the paint dries, sprinkle on your ground foam, or your choice of material. The paint will act as a bonding agent.   You can leave any small areas where the 'grass' didn't stick and the earth-tone paint will look like bare earth.    If the area is too large, you can spray the area with a 50/50 mix of water and white glue and resprinkle with 'grass'.    Let the glue dry over night.     Look for places where the 'grass' is loose and use white glue in these small areas, resprinkle with 'grass' as necessary.
